Automation, controls & remote monitoring

LABOR REDUCTION · BACKWASH & FEED AUTOMATION · SENSORS & CALLOUTS

Evaluate existing controls and build a practical path toward less repetitive labor, more consistent operation, and better visibility across the facility. We help prioritize upgrades, compare control options, and plan integration around existing equipment, staffing, and operating needs.

Automation can coordinate chemical feeding, filtration and backwashing, circulation, water levels, and supporting equipment. Depending on the selected system, multiple sensors can track water chemistry, temperature, flow, filter pressures, tank levels, and chemical inventory. We evaluate controllers and control options against the functions your facility actually needs, with appropriate interlocks, calibration, and manual verification built into the operating plan.

Remote monitoring is available as a scoped service through AFI or in coordination with a local service provider. We design monitoring and notification plans around defined alarm points, callout thresholds, assigned contacts, and escalation paths. Alerts can be routed through supported integrations to designated facility technicians or outside contractors for maintenance, repair, or chemical-delivery needs.

A useful alarm identifies both the condition and the next action. We document who receives each alert, who responds, and when escalation is needed, then connect those procedures to your facility manual, SOPs, and quick-reference sheets. Monitoring coverage and response arrangements are established with the service scope.
